Introduction

Microsoft Office is a combination of different applications such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft OneNote, and many more. These applications allow users to add, edit, animate text. These apps have different work. 

Many of you have used it but its value is now decreasing since google launched apps similar to Microsoft's apps.  However, it has gained massive popularity. And nowadays also it is demanded by many people. You can even use these apps on your android mobile phone.

Who is the founder of Microsoft?

The brain behind this mastermind innovation is Bill Gates who was one of the richest people in the world. His real name is William Henry Gates. He was born on 28 October 1955 A.D in Washington, U.S.A.  His father William H. Gates was a well-known reputed lawyer of that time. His mother Mary Maxwell Gates was a school teacher.  Since his father was a lawyer, their parents wanted to make Bill Gates’s career in the field of law. But Bill was keenly interested in the computer and programming language. His childhood school Lakeside provided computers to all students so that they could learn to use it. Then Bill got more

interest in computers. 

Slowly, Bill learned BASIC code and created a game named Tic Tac Toe. This can be played on any computer without friends because he used artificial intelligence(AI). 

At schooling age, Bill Gates met 2 years elder brother Paul Alen. Due to similar interests, they quickly have a friendship. But their behavior differs. They were not allowed to enter computer labs because they used to spend more time there forgetting about their studies. They used to do whatever with computer software. Again they were allowed to enter the lab in the condition to find errors in programs. Again, Gates programmed the next software that was helpful for the school's time table schedule. In 1970 with Paul Alan, Gates programmed another software Traf-O-Data that was used to spy traffic lights’ patterns at the age of 15. He was paid a total of 20,000 dollars for it. It was his first income.

The successful journey of Bill Gates 

In 1972, with Paul, he decided to stand his own company but his parents asked him to complete his study first. At the exam at Howard University, he got a total of 1590 marks out of 1600.

One day, Paul read about the first minicomputer( Altair 8800 ). It was invented by Henry Edward Roberts. They came to know that Henry Edward needed such a programmer who could create software for his computer. This was a golden opportunity for Gates and Paul. So, accepting this golden opportunity they created software for Altair. When they installed the software it was successfully operated. Then they planned to stand their own company Microsoft.

 The success journey of Bill Gates started when he left Howard University without graduation in order to focus on his company Microsoft. On 26 November 1977, he registered Microsoft as a company. Microsoft was named from two words microcomputer and software. Micro from the microcomputer and soft from the software. The software might be created using a microcomputer. So it was named.

Slowly, Microsoft was being a great company. He created much software in his life and sold at a good price but Microsoft was the most popular one. He didn’t sell Microsoft but generated vast income. He isn't a topper but toppers are his employees in his company. That's a real heart touching and inspiring sentence.

Microsoft was told to create software by IBM to use in their newly invented computer. So Microsoft programmed a software named Microsoft( MS) - DOS. and it was successfully operated by IBM’s computer. IBM’s brought that software in 50,000 thousand dollars. IBM has to give Microsoft a license for using its software on every computer. Slowly, many companies used that software, and Bill Gates used the same policy of license fee. Paul Allen was affected by cancer. So he can’t work properly and left Microsoft. Bill Gates was the single owner of that company.

Eventually, Microsoft made its place in the technology sector between various companies. That's the reason that nowadays it is installed and used on various computers. Even it is used in android mobile phones.

Revenue

The revenue generated by Microsoft in 2019 is 143 billion USD dollars.

It is said that BillGates earns 15 lakhs per minute and his net worth is 102 billion $.

It is also said that if Bill Gates owns a country then that country will rank 37 in the list of the world's richest countries.
