Who is the founder of Google?

The founder of this mastermind innovation is Larry Page.he was born on 26 March 1973 in Michigan of the United States. His mother Gloria Page and father Carl Victor Page were the professors of computer science in the state university. It is said that there used to be many gadgets and books related to computer science. So since childhood, he was interested in computer science. He was a Ph.D. student at Stanford University in California. There he met Sergey Brin who later became a co-founder of Google.

                                   

The successful journey of Google

Google began in January 1996 as a project and its name was the World Wide Web. Before Google, AltaVista was the biggest search engine. Then they began to create such algorithms that could bring all websites together where they could also rank any site on the basis of their popularity. Next 4 years, they worked really hard. They combined day and night. And finally, their hard work gifted them with fine surprise. It means they successfully found that algorithm in September 1996. The name Google was derived from the mathematical word ‘googol’ the number 1 followed by 100 zeros which signify that this search engine was intended to provide vast amounts of information. Google launched for the first time is still available on the website of Stanford University.

Later on, with the support and help of friends, relatives, and investors they took a total amount of 1 million dollars as debt. And they stood a company named Google Inc. Due to their unique algorithm used in google, soon google became the most popular search engine in the world. Then, Larry and Sergey never looked back. They were continuously hard working on it. Later on, in 2004 google launched its IPO( Initial Public Offering) in the share market. And many people invest in that. Eventually, Google succeeded to be the biggest company in the world.

So, the founder of Google Larry Page and Sergey Brin became the youngest billionaire in the world. On 14 November 2004 google acquired the biggest video sharing and streaming platform i.e Youtube.  Again on 30 April 2009, the very first android system was launched by Google which is used in billions of phones all around the world except iPhone. 

Today google more than 50 applications like Google translate, G-mail, Google assistant, Google Adsense, Google Maps, Google docs, and so on. The headquarter of Google is at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway in Mount View, California, United States. 

The relation between Google and Alphabet

You might have heard of Alphabet as the parent company of Google. So what is the relation between them? I am not clear about it. But I will try to answer as per my knowledge. The simple concept I understood is that Google and Alphabet are nearly the same company. The main thing is Google renamed itself as the alphabet. In 2017, Google generated revenue of 110.55 billion dollars.

In 2018, Google generated revenue of 136.36 billion dollars.

In 2019, Google generated revenue of 160.74 billion dollars.

The founder of Google Larry Page is ranked at 12th number in the list of the world's richest people.
